Start a Student Club!

So you've taken a look at the list of current clubs but feel your true passions and interests aren't being represented. The lightbulb flashes and you realize it's time for you to step up, join the party and start your own club. Well this flash in your mind completes the first step to clubdom - the idea. Now before your club can truly get rolling, there are a few other steps you must complete to become fully sanctioned. You can read more about these in the Clubs Manual, but here are some key points:

1) Complete a registration and financial signing authority form

2) You've heard the word used in your high school history classes, and now's the time to prepare your own constitution. You need to submit one to outline the purpose of your club and how it's structured

3) Do some reading. Ok, you probably have to do enough of that in your classes but take a look through the Clubs Manual. You'll learn so much you'll be glad you did.

Find members. Only thing you have to keep in mind is that your club needs to be open to every student at NAIT.
