NAITfye (first year experience) Fulltime Students
NAITfye is an initiative that was developed to help students transition to NAIT. Our goals are for first year students to:
- Become confident in their abilities
- Make connections to NAIT through groups, peers, and staff
- Feel supported personally and academically, and feel comfortable asking for help
- Be able to balance academic and social life, and remain motivated to complete their program
- And most importantly, enjoy school here at NAIT!
NAITfye has developed a series of free workshops that will be offered throughout the year along with welcome and orientation events. These workshops were developed to help you be successful in your program and will cover a variety of study skills topics. Refer to the NAITfye website or contact us for information on upcoming sessions that may interest you.

NAITfye (first year experience) Apprentice Students
First Year Experience Apprenticeship is an initiative at NAIT with the goal of improving the Apprenticeship experience, and to help you succeed in your program. Being an apprentice student is quite different from a full-time student. For one thing apprentices are in school for short periods of time. Another is some programs are on satellite campuses. These issues have made communication and providing effective services to our apprenticeship students challenging. We are here to meet that challenge! Our goal is to improve communication with apprentices on all campuses to ensure you have access to all the services we have to offer at NAIT for you to be successful.
